Launched as a full-service property management firm serving the DC, Suburban Maryland, and Baltimore area with a clear mission: to increase the value of our clients' real estate portfolios through professional, transparent management.
We expanded our services to include full brokerage capabilities, allowing our clients to buy, sell, and lease properties with the same trusted team handling all aspects of their real estate journey.
We broadened our scope to serve institutional investors and houses of worship with specialized asset management and development consulting, recognizing the unique needs of these important community assets.
We founded Blue Shoe Development and completed our first ground-up development project, The Barry Saunders, in Washington, D.C., marking our entry into full-cycle real estate development.

Traci Miller founded Tilmon Properties in 2004 with a clear mission: to increase the value of real estate portfolios through disciplined, professional management. Over two decades, she has built the company into a full-service real estate firm serving property owners, investors, and institutions across Washington D.C., Suburban Maryland, and Baltimore.
Her leadership has guided the expansion of the firm from property management into brokerage, asset management, development services, and specialized work with houses of worship. In 2022 she founded Blue Shoe Development, completing the company's first ground-up project, The Barry Saunders, in Washington D.C.
Traci's approach is grounded in transparency, integrity, and a commitment to treating every property as if it were her own β values that have defined Tilmon Properties from day one.
